On the 24th of August, LBYG had the privilege of attending our annual Dhamma Retreat at the serene Santi Forest Monastery. From 10am to 2pm, we immersed ourselves in the peaceful surroundings and deepened our understanding of the Dhamma.

The day began with a beautiful lunch dana offering to the bhikkuni (nuns), fostering a sense of gratitude and reverence. Following the meal, we participated in an insightful discussion on applying the Dhamma to our lives, especially during times of change—a timely and meaningful reflection for everyone.

One of the highlights was our walk to the tranquil Santi Monastery Cave, where we meditated and prayed together, connecting with the stillness of nature. It was a truly calming experience, bringing us closer to the teachings of the Buddha.

We concluded by expressing our heartfelt thanks to the noble bhikkuni for their wisdom and generosity, before heading home with a renewed sense of peace and mindfulness.

It was a day filled with learning, reflection, and tranquility—an experience we will cherish for a long time. 🙏
